Her memoir, Under A Starless Sky depicts her family's journey from the beginnings of Iran's revolution to their escape to Turkey and ultimately, Australia. Her debut novel The Russian Tapestry, is based on her husband's grandparents who similarly fled a totalitarian regime to make a new home in Australia.
